( Fig. 13 View FIGURE 13 )

Description. FEMALE. Body length 11.0 mm, fore wing length 9.0 mm. Head. Supraclypeal area 1.28 times as wide as height, medially weakly convex and depressed on sides, finely sparsely punctate, pubescent. Clypeus basally convex, bilobed, medio-apically notched, sparsely punctate. Malar space 0.40 as long as basal width of mandible. Upper tooth of mandible weakly longer than lower tooth. Upper margin of face straight. Supra-antennal area shiny and smooth. Inner margin of eyes weakly emarginate opposite the antennal sockets. POL:OD:OOL=1.0:1.25:1.25. Gena straight, 0.36 times as long as eye in dorsal view. Occipital carina complete, meeting hypostomal carina above base of mandible. Antenna with 21 flagellomeres, first flagellomere 3.75 times as long as its apical width, 1.25 times as long as second one.

Mesosoma. Pronotum smooth and shiny, dorsal margin with some hairs, posterior lower corner with weak wrinkles. Notauli weak but anteriorly distinct, mesoscutum finely punctate, pubescent; scutellum and metascutellum punctate, pubescent. Epicnemial area sparsely punctate, pubescent. Epicnemial carina strong and reaching above the middle level of mesopleuron. Mesopleuron finely punctate and pubescent on anterior half, smooth and bare on posterior half. Metapleuron posteriorly with sparse hairs. Propodeum convex, lateral area with sparse punctures, pubescent; pleural area moderately densely punctate, posterior area smooth. Median longitudinal carinae strong, subparallel on basal 0.60, diverging apically.

Wings. Fore wing: crossvein 1cu-a interstitial of vein 1M+Rs. Cell 1+2Rs (areolet) long triangular, oblique, receiving crossvein 2m-cu at apex. Hind wing: distal abscissa of vein Cu present; vein 1-Cu longer than crossvein 1cu-a.

Legs. Hind femur 3.90 as long as its maximum width.

Metasoma. T1 0.86 as long as its apical width, dorsally sparsely punctate, dorsolateral carina present on apical 0.50 behind spiracles, dorsal median carinae up to declivity. Area between dorsolateral caina and median dorsal carina coarsely punctate. T2–5densely punctate except for transverse smooth band at apical 0.20. Tubercles on T2–5distinct and punctate. T6–8 polished, finely punctate, pubescent. Ovipositor 0.81 times as long as metasoma, cylindrical, its lower valve with oblique ridges.

Colour. Body black. Face black except for a yellow invert U-shaped mark. Mandible except for black teeth, clypeus, palpus, anterior sides of scape and pedicel, dorsal margin of pronotum, tegula, and subtegular ridge yellow. Fore and middle legs yellow, hind coxa reddish. T1 yellowish brown; T2–3yellow except for tubercles, apical transverse bands and central area on apical 0.5 black. Wing membrane hyaline, veins and stigma light brown.

Male. Unknown.

Host. Unknown.

Holotype. CHINA: Female, Wuyanling Natural Reserve (Lat. 27.36, Long. 119.70), Taishun, Zhejiang, 31-VII-2005, Coll. Peng Xu, No.200605129.

Distribution records. China (Zhejiang).

Etymology. This species is named after the collected locality of the holotpye.

Comments. This species is similar to Acropimpla devia Baltazar by having the upper edge of supraclypeal area straight; propodeum convex in profile, median longitudinal carinae strong, lateral area with minute scattered punctures and tubercles on tergites punctate, but can be distinguished from the latter by a black mark on supraclypeal area (vs. face entirely yellow), and T1 0.86 times as long as its apical width (vs. 1.25 times). The new species is also similar to A. uttara Gupta et Tikar by having the scutellum and metasomal tergites largely yellow, but different from the latter by showing the upper edge of supraclypeal area straight (vs. upper edge of supraclypeal area with distinct cut), and tubercles on T2–5 punctate (vs. smooth).
