Material examined. – One female, cl 3.2 mm, ZRC 2007.0269, river outside Inabacan Cave, Antequrra, coll. Y. Remarks. – Caridina typus is a very common insular or coastal freshwater species, which is widely distributed in the islands of Indo-West Pacific region.
