Material examined. – One female, cl 3.2 mm, ZRC 2007.0269, river outside Inabacan Cave, Antequrra, coll. Y. Cai et al., 18 Dec.2000; 1 male, cl 4.7 mm, 8 females, cl 2.8–4.0 mm, 2 ovigerous females, cl 6.8–7.2 mm, ZRC 2007.0270 View Materials , River outside Inabacan Cave , Antequrra, coll. Y. Remarks. – Caridina typus is a very common insular or coastal freshwater species, which is widely distributed in the islands of Indo-West Pacific region.
