Type species. Pseudogagrella sinensis Redikorzev 1936 , by original designation.

Diagnosis. Abdominal scute hard, with a median spine on second tergite. Pedipalpal tarsus longer than tibia; claw pectinate. Leg II longer than IV; all leg femora without false articulations.

Distribution. Southeast China, Japan (including Ryukyu Islands), Indonesia (Sumatra), and Taiwan.
