Priocnemis (Priocnemis) yunnanensis Loktionov, Lelej & Xu View in CoL , sp. nov.

( Figs 1–7 View FIGURES 1 – 7 , 10, 18, 23, 26, 27)

Material examined. Type material. Holotype, ♂, China: " Yunnan, Honghe, Kaiyuan , 26–27.VIII.2014 (Zhi Hou), 2016000779" [ SCAU] . Paratype, 1 ♂, with the same data as holotype, 2016000778 [ SCAU] .

Diagnosis. Male. Body length 4.8–5.1 mm. S6 postero-laterally with weakly concave and strongly polished semioval area. Hypopygium almost parallelsided at basal half (Fig. 23). Volsella ventrally with scattered erect soft setae, more concentrated on outer side; paramere with shorter very strong bristles apically and 4–5 longer and softer bristles dorso-apically (Figs 10, 18). Scape ventrally yellow-brown; spurs of all legs yellowish. Hypopygium without lateral subbasal emargination (Fig. 23). Female. Unknown.

Description. MALE. Length: body 4.8(5.1, data for paratype in parentheses) mm; fore wing 4.6(4.5) mm. Head. Width of head 1.1(1.05) × its height ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ). Ocelli small, ratio POD/OOD 0.5(0.5) × ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ). Width of gena medially 0.5(0.4) × width of eye medially (lateral view) ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ). Half of median interocular distance 1.2(1.2) × eye width ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ). Head rounded above (frontal view) ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ). Vertex almost straight medially and gently rounded laterally ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ). Clypeus weakly longitudinally convex, anterior border straight. Mandible pointed apically, with one inner tooth. Malar space 0.1(0.15) × pedicel width. Ratio of scape, pedicel and two first flagellomeres 22(21):11(11):23(23):22(23). First flagellomere 3.2(3.1) × its width. Flagellomere 5–11 ventrally weakly convex. Apical flagellomere pointed apically.

Mesosoma. Weakly broadened medially (dorsal view); mesosoma dorsally 2.1(2.1) × its maximum width. Pronotum dorsally weakly narrowed anterad; medially 0.32(0.31) × its width; posterior border distinctly angulate ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ). Metanotum length medially 1.0(1.1) × metapostnotum length medially ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ). Propodeum convex, narrowed posterad.

Legs. Ratio of protarsomeres 40(38):17(16):13(13):8(7):16(16). Protarsomeres symmetrical. Protarsomere 1 ventrally with two indistinct rows of short suberect spines; protarsomere 2 and 3 ventrally with few short suberect spines; protarsomere 4 and 5 ventrally without spines. Meso- and metatarsomeres 1–3 ventrally with short suberect spines; meso- and metatarsomeres 4 and 5 ventrally without spines. Orbicula with 6–7 radiating bristles, its length 0.5–1.0 × claw length. Longest spur of mesotibia 0.8(0.79) × mesotarsomere 1; longest spur of metatibia 0.8(0.85) × metatarsomere 1. Tarsal claws with strong inner tooth equal to apical one.

Wings. Fore wing slightly infuscated with weaker preapical spot, venation as in Fig. 26 View FIGURES 26 – 37 . Hind wing regularly slightly infuscated with somewhat darker apical portion, venation as in Fig. 27 View FIGURES 26 – 37 .

Metasoma. S6 with weakly concave and strongly polished semioval area postero-laterally. Hypopygium flat with oval emargination on apical margin; parallelsided at basal half, without distinct emargination; ventral surface with erect (almost right angle) setae (Fig. 23). Genitalia as in Figs 10, 18; volsella ventrally with scattered erect soft setae; paramere with short stout bristles apically and 4–5 long soft bristles dorso-apically.

Sculpture. Head, mesosoma and metasoma subpolished and distinctly punctated. Anterior portion of clypeus mat with irregular small punctures and few large pits. Frons with dense punctures and short polished median line at basal half ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ). Gena with indistinct punctures. Punctures on pronotum and scutum more gentle than on frons ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ). Punctures on anterior portion of mesopleuron larger than on posterior one. Metapostnotum shiny, with dense transverse striae and triangle polished area postero-medially ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1 – 7 ). Propodeum dorsally with very dense and small punctures. Terga with soft small punctures. Antenna mat. Leg mostly mat with subpolished coxa and femur.

Colour and pubescence. Black; scape ventrally yellow-brown; mandible light brown preapically and redbrown apically; tegula brown; protibia dorsally brown, laterally and ventrally yellow-brown; protarsomere yellowbrown with tendency to brown toward apex; spurs of legs yellowish. Body mostly without erect setae; frons near inner orbit of eye with 1–2 pale long erect setae; anterior portion of clypeus with few light brown setae; mandible with few strong brown long setae; propleuron with one light brown long setae or without setae; pronotum with short scattered white suberect setae; S6 postero-laterally with few short brown suberect setae. Head (except upper frons and gena), mesosoma, metasoma, coxa, trochanter and femur with rare silver pubescence. Metapostnotum mostly without pubescence.

FEMALE. Unknown.

Comparison. The male of the new species is easily distinguished within the group by having scape ventrally yellow-brown (dark in other species); spurs of legs yellowish (dark or brown in other species); hypopygium almost parallelsided subbasally (Fig. 23) (with distinct arcuate subbasal emargination in other species, as in Figs 15, 21, 22, 24, 25, 33, 37).
