1. Body dorsally with broad median fuscous band extending from base of head through to end of abdomen including genital segments ( Figs. 80 b, 83).......................................................................... fuscovittatus

Head ochraceous with three black spots or patches, one near apex, and one encircling each ocellus; eyes conspicuously stylate and laterally slightly directed forward, so that an imaginary straight line through posterior margin of eyes does not touch anterior margin of pronotum ( Figs. 63, 64 )............................................................. coloratus

3.
