Distribution: Palearctic. Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece (Continent, Crete), Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia.

Larval host plant(s): Carex flacca Schreber (Cyperaceae) ( Steuer 1973).
