Elachista deceptricula Staudinger, 1880: 409 View in CoL . Type locality: Turkey, Amasia, Caraman (Staudinger 1880: 409). Lectotype ♂ designated by Nielsen & Traugott-Olsen (1978a), in ZMHB.

Subgenus: Aphelosetia ; dispilella View in CoL species group.

Distribution: Palearctic. Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Ukraine.

Larval host plant(s): unknown.

Remarks: The record of E. deceptricula from Spain is refererable to E conferta Kaila, 2017 .
