Subgenus: Elachista View in CoL ; tetragonella View in CoL species group.
Distribution: Palearctic. Austria, France, Germany, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Russia (Altai), Slovakia.
Larval host plant(s): Carex sempervirens Vill. (as Biselachista freyi ) ( Buszko & Baraniak 1989), C. firma Host (Cyperaceae) ( Baran 2010b).
