Anthophora (Micranthophora) erythrothorax Michener, 1936 View in CoL **

[ Holotype: CASC; ♀ Mill Creek , San Bernardino Mountains, California, USA; August 31, 1930]

This species occurs in the CPF and rarely in Mojave and SDs. It specializes on pollen from a broad range of genera in the family Asteraceae ( Orr et al. 2018) . It is a new record for both Mexico and BC based on a single female collected in the Chaparral in October 2020. See fig. 73.
