Anthophora salazariae View in CoL is distributed in xeric areas throughout the Great Basin, Mojave, and Sonoran deserts and specializes on pollen from plants in the families Lamiaceae View in CoL and Fabaceae ( Orr et al. 2018) View in CoL . In the BCP, it was collected in the Central Desert, BC in April 1973, March 1984, and April 1985 ( Orr et al. 2018). Specimens are vouchered at BBSL. See fig. 76.
