[ Holotype: USNM; ♀ Las Cruces , Doña Ana Co., New Mexico, USA; August 23]

Anthophorula compactula is distributed throughout northern Mexico and the southwestern USA. This species represents a new record within the BCP. CARCIB team collected three females and one male in the transition zone between the Sarcocaulescent Shrubland and the Tropical Dry Forest in November 2016, and 2017. See fig. 122 .
