Ind. loc.: “J’ai récolté près de Lussan (Gard) […]. Je désigne cette espèce sous le nom de B. picroides ˮ.
Holotype:— FRANCE. “ Biscutella picroides Jord. , silic. laeves, Lussan (Gard) 1841 (herbier Jordan)ˮ (handwriting) leg. and det. A. Jordan ( LY0008996 !).
Note: the holotype status is supported by these facts: this species appears not to have been grown; the cited gathering is the only one that could be found; it was made in situ by the author himself, so probably without any duplicate according to his habits; finally, it is absolutely consistent with the protologue.
