Lectotype (designated here):— FRANCE. “ Biscutella pinnatifida Jord., Mas Cabardès (Aude) 1860 , mj mai-juin 1862 ex Herb. Al. Jordan 187_ˮ (handwriting) leg. and det. A. Jordan ( LY0015061 !).
Syntypus: “ Biscutella pinnatifida Jord., du Mas Cabardès (Aude) 1860 , mj 20 mai-juin 1862ˮ (handwriting) leg. and det. A. Jordan (LY0015060!).
Note: from the notes it may be deduced that the lectotype was grown from sowing n°138 “graines semées (en pots) en août et septembre 1860 ˮ from “Mas Cabardès 1860ˮ: it is thus the first generation grown from wild seeds, certainly still consistent with the taxon. In 1861 Jordan writes several times “cette espèce ne ressemble à aucune autreˮ, which could seem overstated.
