Genus Maldivea Gerlach, 1962

Diagnosis (after Smol et al. 2014). Similar to Paroxystomina , but supplements different: two subventral pair of short stout setae on a raised papilla. No wings/apophyses. Marine species.

Type species: Maldivea xarifae Gerlach, 1962 .
