Specimens examined. Fazenda Liberdade, H. rostrata  , February 2007 (1 female)  ; Fazenda Monte Alegre , H. rostrata  , January 2008 (1 female), H. wagneriana  , September 2006 (1 female), January 2008 (1 female)  .

Four females measured. Dorsal shield 318 (290–332) long, 215 (210–220) wide, j1 25 (23–27), j3 35 (34–37), j4 55 (49–61), j5 69 (65–76), j6 143 (137–153), J5 6 (5–6), z2 13 (12–15), z4 54 (49–61), z5 11 (9–12), Z1 104 (92– 116), Z4 125 (116–137), Z5 112 (107–119), s4 162 (156–168), S5 27 (24–31), r3 23 (21–24), R1 23 (21–26); distances between St1–St3 71 (67–76), St2–St2 76 (68–82), St5–St5 85 (77–90); ventrianal shield 94 (92–95) long, 65 (61–67) wide at level of ZV2 and 74 (72–76) wide at level of anus; movable cheliceral digit 24 long; fixed cheliceral digit 21 long, calyx of spermatheca 33 (31–34) long; Sge I 51 (49–52), Sge II 31 (30–31), Sge III 41 (34– 55), Sti III 29 (27–31), Sge IV 72 (67–76), Sti IV 35 (34–37), St IV 99 (88–107).

Remarks. No measurements were given in the original description of this species. Measurements of the specimens collected agree with the redescription given by Schuster & Pritchard (1963), except for the longer j6 (110) and the shorter S5 (40). Specimens collected in this study have wider dorsal shield than reported for specimens from São Paulo by Moraes et al. (2013) [179 (175–187)].
