Material examined: ♂ (n = 1), ( DOZE / UOCSL / LA008 ), 6.7245°N, 80.1559°E, Bodinagala , Kalutara District, Western Province, Sri Lanka, 30.8 m, 11 January 2018, D.L. Abeywardhana, forest GoogleMaps .

Measurements: BW 24.5, BL 12.30, HL 1.60, HW 1.80, ML 1.05, PL 3.06, PW 1.16, PI 2.64, EL 7.64, EW 2.12.

Diagnosis and description: Diagnosed at the generic level by the small and very slender body, flask-shaped pronotum that is always contracted in front into a longer or shorter collum, dark blue elytra that are strongly punctured, presence of wings, elongate legs. Included in the subgenus Stenocollyris by round and very broad head with voluminous eyes, deep interocular excavation, long filiform antennae, long pronotum with transverse striations. The species is defined by the rounded head that is not very broad, wide neck, narrow and deep interocular excavation, antennae black with reddish 3 and 4 articles, antennal scape relatively large, black labrum that is semi-circular in shape, maxillary and labial palps dark brown in colour, penultimate item of labial palp golden, width of pronotum smallest at 2/3 of the length, top of pronotum subrectilinear in lateral view, elytra subparallel with rounded shoulders, elytral apex broadly truncated, elytral sculpture extends to the apex and consists of polygonal pits. Long legs with reddish brown femurs and dark brown tibiae and tarsi ( Figs. 11 View FIGURE 11 , 12 View FIGURE 12 , 13 View FIGURE 13 ).

Distribution: Species known only from Sri Lanka. Ratnapura ( Naviaux 1995).
