—This is an unusually rare species in Montenegro, observed only locally, and in low numbers. Kühnert (1971) explains its rarity due to the absence of its host plant R hamnus alaternus in many apparently suitable locations along the coast. It has been reported from Mt. Sutorman near Bar ( Carnelutti & Michieli 1958) and Buljarica near Petrovac (Švara et al. 2015). This species was also observed in an unusual habitat at almost 1300 m (Williams pers. comm.), along the Mokro–Šavnik road.
