Distribution: WEST PALAEARCTIC: Northern and eastern Mediterranean ( Müller 2021).

Genus Osmia Panzer, 1806

40 species.

Floral preferences seem to be strongly centred on Asteraceae genera, as well as Fabaceae and Lamiaceae ( Müller 2021) . Our recorded flower visits do seem to follow this trend but include several records form other families within individual species visits such as Dipsacaceae and Boraginaceae .
