Distribution: PALAEARCTIC ( Ascher & Pickering 2021).

Literature. Listed in Mavromoustakis (1956) as Megachile lagopoda fulvohirta Alfken, 1935 , which can possibly be a distinct subspecies. Verification of type material is necessary in this case.
