Yezoceryx albimaculatus Sheng & Sun, 2010: 38 . Holotype: ♀, China: Guangdong ( GSFPM).
Diagnosis. Occipital carina narrowly dipped dorsally; vertex behind lateral ocelli strongly prominent above level of ocelli; first tergite about 2.1× as long as its posterior width; ovipositor length about 3.1× length of hind tibia, first sternite sharply hooked anteriorly; body black with many yellowish/whitish marks.
Material examined. Vinh Phuc Province, Tam Dao NP: 1♂ ( OMNH), 1.vi.1997, 500– 1000 m a.s.l. ; 1♂ (OMNH), 1.v.1998, 900– 1200 m a.s.l., R. Matsumoto leg.
Distribution. Previously known only from China (Guangdong Province), these are the first records of this species from Vietnam.
Remarks. Vietnamese specimens have the subalar prominence entirely black and in males the middle part of the median lobe of the mesoscutum is not so deeply impressed as in males from China.
