Paratypes ♀ and ♂ with labels: (1) printed on white paper: “ USA, Georgia | Liberty Co., St. | Catherines Island | April 24 –28,1972 | Thompson & Picchi”; (2) printed on yellow paper: “ PARATYPE | Lygistorrhina | sanctaecatharinae | Thompson 1973”; (3) printed on white paper: “MZ004338”.

Condition of types (figures 9–12). Both pinned. Missing parts: female head, wings and fore legs (figures 9– 10); male head (figures 11–12).
