Leucophenga securis View in CoL sp. nov.

( Figs 4 View FIGURE 4 A, 9E, 9F, 12C, 16G, 16H, 36)

Diagnosis. This species is somewhat similar to L. retihirta sp. nov. in the patterns of wing and abdominal tergites, and aedeagus reticulated ( Figs 4 View FIGURE 4 A, 12C; see upper that species); but can be distinguished from the latter by having the paramere shape and pubescent mediodorsally ( Fig. 36 View FIGURE 36 C); aedeagus dorsad protruded subbasally, with pubescence distoventrally ( Fig. 36 View FIGURE 36 D).

Description. Ocellar triangle brown, with 3–6 setae above ocellar setae. Frons brownish to yellowish brown. Pedicel yellowish brown; first flagellomere brownish. Clypeus yellowish brown. Palpus brownish yellow. Mesonotum yellowish brown medially, brown posteromedially and laterally ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 E). Postpronotal lobe yellow ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 F). Acrostichal setulae in 12–14 irregular rows ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 E). Scutellum yellowish brown, sometimes pale at tip ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 E). Pleura with an unconspicuous, brown, longitudinal stripe above ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 E). Katepisternum and mesopleuron mostly brownish yellow ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 F). Wing ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 A): Costal vein between R2+3 and R4+5 distally with 5–8 peg-like spinules on ventral surface. Mid and hindlegs brown on knees. Abdominal tergites dark brown, with yellow patches ( Fig. 12 View FIGURE 12 C). Male terminalia: Epandrium with pubescence and 5 setae near posterior margin per side ( Fig. 36 View FIGURE 36 A). Paramere with 16 sensilla dorstodistally ( Fig. 36 View FIGURE 36 C).
