Leucophenga baculifoliacea View in CoL sp. nov.

( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 D, 8A, 8B, 11D, 15E, 15F, 30)

Diagnosis. This species is similar to L. glabella Huang & Chen, 2013b from Yunnan, China in katepisternum yellow to brownish yellow ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 B), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the aedeagus slender and straight, with 1 small projection apically ( Fig. 30 View FIGURE 30 D). In glabella : aedeagus sturdy and reticulated, distally round and curved ventrad, lacking projection (fig. 25C in Huang et al. 2013b).

Description. Ocellar triangle yellowish brown, with 2 setae above ocellar setae. Frons brownish yellow. Pedicel brownish yellow; first flagellomere yellow. Clypeus brownish yellow medially, brown laterally. Palpus yellow, brownish apically. Mesonotum yellowish brown ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 A). Postpronotal lobe brownish yellow ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 B). Scutellum yellowish brown ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 A). Pleura with a dark brown, longitudinal stripe above ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 B). Katepisternum and mesopleuron mostly brownish yellow ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 B). Wing ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 D): Costal vein between R2+3 and R4+5 distally with 6–7 peg-like spinules on ventral surface. Abdominal tergites dark brown, with yellow patches ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 D). Male terminalia: Epandrium nearly entirely pubescent, with 13 setae near posterior margin and ventral corner per side ( Fig. 30 View FIGURE 30 A). Paramere with pubescence and 6 sensilla distally ( Fig. 30 View FIGURE 30 C).
