Eurymerocoris obscuriceps Stål, 1858: 190 View in CoL (n. sp.).

This species was originally described from Siberia; I have examined specimens from Russia, Yakutia, River Amgu , identifed by I. M. Kerzhner. The genitalia (fig. 39) are of the typical Plagiognathus View in CoL type and appear to conform to the illustration provided by Qi and Nonnizab (1993) .

HOST: Salix sp. (Salicaceae) (Lindberg, 1928).
