The generic placement of this species has been somewhat confused. Nonetheless, the genitalic figures originally provided by Linnavuori (1961) and subsequent illustrations of the taxon (e.g., Yasunaga, 1999) make it clear that this is a Europiella sp. , especially regarding the form of the left paramere, with the structure of the vesica being very similar to that of Europiella artemisiae (Becker) View in CoL and Europiella decolor (Uhler) View in CoL .
