Geographic distribution. Peru ( Hungerford 1933), Argentina ( Bachmann 1962c) .
Distribution in Peru. Huancavelica ( Mazzucconi 2000), Ayacucho ( Mazzucconi 2000; Ayala-Sulca et al. 2021, 2022), Cusco ( Hungerford 1933; Mazzucconi & Bachmann 1998; Mazzucconi 2000).
Notes. The material from Argentina reported by Viana & Williner (1978) as N. variabilis Fieber, 1851 might correspond at least in part to this species ( Coscarón 2017). The record from Lima department ( Iannacone et al. 2003) is questionable and probably refers to Buenoa absidata .
