Geographic distribution. Panama ( Keffer 1997), Trinidad & Tobago ( Nieser & Alkins-Koo 1991), Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia ( Keffer 1997), Paraguay ( Kuitert 1949), Argentina ( Mazzucconi et al. 2009) .
Distribution in Peru. Madre de Dios ( Keffer 1997).
Notes. Material from Trinidad & Tobago identified by Hynes (1948) as C. scorpio Stål, 1861 probably refers to this species ( Nieser & Alkins-Koo 1991). Specimens reported by De Carlo (1951b) were later described as C. sanmartini De Carlo, 1956 (junior-synonym of C. borellii Montandon, 1903 ) ( Keffer 1997).
