Notes: — Tabernaemontana hannae is morphologically similar to T. venusta in its hypocrateriform to slightly urceolate flowers and foliose sepals, but differs by the stamens inserted near the middle of the corolla tube (vs. stamens inserted near the base of the tube) and the corolla twisted around the stamens (vs. corolla not twisted). Additionally, it is similar to T. simulans (F.J. Morales & Q. Jiménez) A.O. Simões & M.E. Endress in Simões et al. (2010: 787–788), which is endemic to Costa Rica, but this differs by the corolla hipocraterifom (vs. slightly urceolate in T. hannae ), and sepals 4–6 mm long (vs. 0.6–1 cm long).
