This widespread, uncommonly encountered eucnemid was previously recorded from Connecticut, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Wisconsin ( Otto 2022b). I confirm it here as a new state record for Kentucky on the basis of a specimen taken from a Malaise trap. KENTUCKY: USA: Kentucky: Madison Co./ Berea Col. For.: Horse Cove Rd/ 37.57232° N, 84.22051° W 266m / 10–17.vi.2013 Trap 6 MT K69/ Chapman & Stedenfield (1, CUAC).
