This apparently widespread, very rare and recently described eucnemid species was previously known from Alabama, Florida and Wisconsin ( Otto 2022a). Georgia, Louisiana, and South Carolina are now added as confirmed new state records. One specimen was taken from a UV light trap in Georgia. Two specimens were taken from a Malaise trap in South Carolina. Four specimens were taken from Lindgren traps in Georgia and South Carolina.
