Specimens examined: Holotype: Myanmar: N-Burma, ca. 50km nw, Putao , 12.8.2006, 2200m, leg. C. Reuter (♀, RGCM).

Paratypes: N.E. Burma, Kambaita 7000ft., 4.– 8.6.1934, R. Malaise (2ex., RGCM) . N.E. Burma, Kambaita 7000ft., 22.6.1934, R. Malaise ( NHRS) . N. East Burma, Sadon 1200m, 28.6.– 5.7.1934, Malaise ( NHRS)

Measurements: (5 specimens measured) Total length: 9.4mm, range: 9.3–9.6mm, elytral length: 6.6mm, elytral width: 2.6mm, pronotal length: 2.0mm, pronotal width: 1.9mm, head width: 1.8mm.

Head: Black, cranium vested with short setae, with weak and sparse punctation; posterior part of clypeus dark red-brown, margins black, with large punctures and a few long setae laterally, smooth centrally; ventral part smooth, wrinkled behind the eyes; antennae red-brown, club slightly lighter, A9 separated from A10 and A11, female antennae reaching base of pronotum when laid back; gular sutures parallel, gular process broad.

Thorax: Average pronotal length:width ratio 1.0:1; pronotum red-brown, without distinct punctation, sparsely vested with short yellowish setae, pronotal arch narrow, smooth, pronotum proper smooth; prosternum red-brown, smooth; mesosternum red-brown, vested with yellowish setae; metasternum brown, vested with fine setae, punctation sparse and fine; anterior metasternal process with two strongly sclerotized, ventrally projecting, edges; scutellum round, lighter than surrounding elytra.

Elytra: Average length:width ratio 2.5:1; basal three quarters broadly surrounded dark red-brown, one red-brown spot on each elytron in basal half, near apex another brown macula centrally, subcutaneous structures of variable size visible through lighter areas, vested with short decumbent setae, punctation large, striae 1 to 3 with large, randomly distributed punctation, remaining striae punctured relatively consistently, punctation slightly smaller in striae 9 and 10, interstices between and within consistently punctured striae smaller than one diameter of punctures, punctation never rasp-like, carination absent.

Legs: Red-brown, coxa, trochanter yellow and proximal part of femora yellow, tarsal pulvilli pale; metatibiae more or less straight, tibiae not carinated.

Abdomen: Ventrites brown, with weak and sparse punctation.

Distribution: Myanmar.

Seasonal occurrence: Collected in August.

Etymology: The specific epithet, dissipatio, a Latin adjective meaning scattered, refers to the elytral punctation.
