Eriophyes altisonorae ( Keifer, 1979)

Carex sylvatica Huds. ; West Poland, near Mosina, leafy forest; 30.05.1999; leg. A. Skoracka; 18 specimens, vagrants on upper leaf surfaces.

The species so far was recorded in California in basal leaf sheaths of Carex sp. ( Keifer 1979).
