TD: holotype, male , NHMUK.

Distribution in India: Assam, North East Himalaya ( Holloway 1987); Central Himalaya ( Sanyal et al. 2018). Global records: North-western Himalaya, northern Vietnam, northern Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Sundaland, Philippines ( Zolotuhin & Witt 2000a, Bhutan ( Irungbam & Irungbam 2018).

Remark: Tams (1953) recognised two subspecies, A. roepkei sarotes Tams, 1953 and A. roepkei pela Tams, 1953 from Sundaland and the Philippines respectively, that needs further studies for confirming their present status ( Holloway 1987).
