Distribution in India: Eastern Himalayas, Assam, Orissa (Ganjam), Madras province ( Hampson 1892), West Bengal (Calcutta and Darjiling), Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra ( Bombay), Meghalaya (Khasis); Uttarakhand (Nainital), Sikkim, Tamil Nadu ( Mandal & Maulik 1997, Smetack 2008, Mitra et al. 2019, Joshi et al. 2021a). Global records: China, Taiwan, Nepal, Burma, Thailand, Vietnam, Malysia, Sumatra, Borneo (Zolotuhin 2000).
Remark: TL mentioned as Surinam is not correct and could not be confirmed as type material is lost (Zolotuhin 2000).
