Holotype: FMNH 252844 About FMNH , male, “ Kon Cha Rang Village (1000–1200 m above sea level [ ASL]), An Khe District, Gia-Lai Province, Vietnam ”.
Etymology: From Latin “ tuberosus ”, meaning “ tuberculated ”.
Present name: Leptobrachella tuberosa ( Inger, Orlov et Darevsky, 1999) fide Chen et al. (2018).
