47. Lacerta unisexualis DAREVSKY (1966: 148)
Holotype: ZISP 17929 View Materials , female, “Achta, in the canyon of Razdan River in northern Armenia ” [Akhta Village (= City Hrazdan), in the canyon of the Razdan River , Kotayk Province, Armenia].
Etymology: The species name is derived from Latin words “ unis ”—single, only, and “ sex ”—gender, in reference to the parthenogenetic method of reproduction of this species.
Present name: Darevskia unisexualis ( Darevsky, 1966) fide Ananjeva et al. (2006).
