Specimens examined: São Carlos: C. pubescens , VII­2000 (2), X­2000 (1); M. venulosa , X­2000 (1). Pirassununga: C. pubescens , XI­2000 (1); M. guianensis , XI­2000 (1); M. venulosa , X­2001 (2); P. guajava , VII­2000 (5), X­2001 (1). Luiz Antonio, C. pubescens I­ 2000 (2), X­2001 (1).

Associated phytophagous mites: Tenuipalpus sp. on C. pubescens ; Oligonychus sp. on C. pubescens and M. venulosa .

Previous records: Brazil — Bahia, Ceará, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo; Guyana and Venezuela.

Remarks: The measurements of 5 adult females collected are similar to those given in the original description. The measurements of a single male are: dorsal shield length 225, width 140, j1 15, j3 15, j4 13, j5 13, j6 13, J2 13, J5 5, z3 15, z4 15, z5 13, Z4 15, Z5 20, s4 18, s6 20, r3 15, R1 10, St IV 20, width of ventrianal shield 142 at anterior corners, length of shaft of spermadactyl 20. Only measurements of length and width of the dorsal shield and length of shaft of spermadactyl of this species were given in the original description. These measurements are similar those given in this paper.
