Type locality. WC, in the north-eastern proximity of the Cape Peninsula, Bains ‘kloof’, near Wellington, at ca. 1200 m asl, among the roots of Juncus , remains of snow still on the ground. Distribution. Type locality only.

Remarks. Holotype BMNH 1938.7.1.870. Paratype SAMC: A21595.
