Description: Wiehle (1956: 127, figs 217–222), Roberts (1987: 124, fig. 62e), Bosmans (2006a: 144, figs 59– 62).

Previous records: Braga: Peneda-Gerês NP, Terras de Bouro, Mata da Albergaria ( Cardoso et al. 2008b) .

Distribution: Holarctic.

Habitat type: In the litter layer of forests.

Phenology: Unknown in Portugal, the only record being from June. In the north of Spain and in the Maghreb, it is a winter species ( Ribera & Hormiga 1985; Bosmans 2006).
