DISTRIBUTION (nominotypical subspecies). Tuva: ET, UKH, KKH. – Europe, Siberia and Russian Far East (except the North), SW Asia, the Caucasus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, N

China, Mongolia, Japan (Hokkaido). This species was recorded from Krasnoyarsk Region

(Miram, 1907) and southern part Republic of Khakassia, including Us Intermountain Basin

(Ivanova, 1967; our data).

ECOLOGY. In the region, the species is commonly associated with meadows of its central and northern parts. Rare, however, in optimal habitats, its abundance may be up to 24 per hour.
