Description. Test elongate-ovate, wall calcareous,
perforate, surface ornamented with thick, longitudi-
nal costae, final chambers with depressions; cham-
bers few; periphery strongly carinate, sutures
obscured; aperture terminal, subovate opening,
bordered by an everted lip.
