Hydrachna aspratilis Koenike, 1897

Species incerta

Material examined: Holotype SMNH Nr. 554 (Type locality: Juist, Niedersachsen, May 1895).

Discussion: This species was described from a single deutonymph, and also, all records published up to now (see K. O. Viets 1987) are based on deutonymphs. In view of the difficulties of associating them to conspecific adults, there is uncertainty about the specific identity of this specimen. From several points of view it is similar to H. conjecta , but H. aspratilis must be considered a species incerta.
