Buccal armature consists of a posterior row (two rows in a large specimen) of quite large, rounded teeth. At the position of the lateral transverse crests, two rounded teeth occur at both dorsal and ventral locations; central transverse crest is absent. Internal surface of the anterior portion of the buccal tube has a large dorsal tooth (not cited in the original description; Kathman 1990) ( Figure 4E, F View Figure 4 ). Slanting cuticular bars (between apophyses and first macroplacoid) can be observed in the pharynx.
