Cataphyll usually only at the basal internode of a new branch. Leaf blade (2.4) 3.5–9.4 cm length, abaxial surface with veins usually conspicuous (raised). Inflorescence pyramidal without complete terminal dichasia (only the central flower develops; the lateral flowers are aborted).
