Thaumatodryinus malayanus Olmi, 1984: 699 .

Description of female. Fully winged; length 4.6–7.2 mm (holotype 4.6 mm). Head testaceous, except ocellar triangle and a median frontal area brown; occiput and ventral side of head partly brown; antennae brown, except segments 1 - 3 testaceous and areas bearing tufts of hairs whitish; propleura brown; pronotum testaceous, except a lateral streak brown; scutum, scutellum and metanotum testaceous; mesopleura and metapleura black, except posterior extremities testaceous; propodeum black, except anterior region of dorsal surface testaceous; gaster brown; legs testaceous, except clubs of femora brown. Antennae filiform; antennal segment 3 more than 1.5 times as long as segment 1 (39:20). Head swollen, dull, granulated; frontal line absent; occipital carina complete; POL = 3; OL = 1; OOL = 15; OPL = 3; TL = 4. Pronotum shiny, hairy, without sculpture, crossed by a transverse impression. Scutum dull, granulated. Notauli complete, posteriorly separated. Scutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, very slightly granulated. Propodeum reticulate rugose, without transverse or longitudinal keels. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein longer than proximal part (50:22). Fore tarsal segments in the following proportions: 38:6:13:34:53. Enlarged claw with 2 subapical teeth and a row of approximately 38 lamellae. Segment 5 of fore tarsus with 2 rows of approximately 54 lamellae; distal apex with a group of about 4 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1, 1, 2.
