Type species: Acridium flavoannulatum Stål, 1861 , by subsequent designation ( Kirby, 1910).
Composition. There are 54 species distributed in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, China, Taiwan and Japan (Ryukyu Islands), i.e. in the Oriental region ( Cigliano et al., 2018).
Notes. Male genitalia of the type species of this genus are described and illustrated here for the first time.
