CURRENT STATUS. — Pentaster obtusatus (Bory de Saint Vincent, 1824).

T YPE MATERIAL. — Unknown origin • 3 syntypes; MNHN- IE-2013-4352 .

REMARKS Bory’s species is based on a drawing of an unidentified Asterias ( Bruguière 1791, pl. 103).

P. obtusata occurs in the Indo-Malayan region and the Philippines.
