MB06-004443 ; K – Praia Morro Peixe (26-09-1955), field number 57; 1 specimen with TL 124 mm. Purchased from local fishermen; caught with purse seine near the coast .

First record for São Tomé Island: Osório (1891) as Upeneus prayensis .
