5. Amblypsilpus lacduonganus sp. nov.

( Figs. 4 View FIGURE 4 , 5 View FIGURE 5 )

Diagnosis. Antenna black. 1 long vt. 5 strong dc. 4 very short paired acr present only before 1 anteriormost dc. Fore femur with row of 9 av on basal 2/5. Hind tarsomere 1 with 1 pv at extreme base and 1 pv at middle. Description. Male. Body length 4.7 mm, wing length 4.4 mm.

Head brightly metallic green with pale grey pruinosity. Setulae and setae on head black except middle and lower postocular setae including posteroventral setulae pale yellow; frons anteriorly without setulae on posterolateral slope; 1 long vt. Ocellar tubercle with 2 long strong oc and 2 posterior setulae. Antenna black; pedicel with circlet of short black apical setae except 1 long dorsal seta; first flagellomere somewhat triangular, nearly as long as wide; arista dorsal, blackish. Proboscis mostly dark yellow with blackish setulae; palpus brown with blackish setulae and 2 black setae.

Thorax brightly metallic green with pale grey pruinosity. Setulae and setae on thorax black; 5 long strong dc; 4 very short, paired acr present before anteriormost dc; 1 ih, 1 ph, su absent, 2 sa, 1 psa, 2 npl; scutellum with two pairs of sc, anterior pair very short and setula-like (about 1/5 of apical pair). Legs yellow except coxae dark brown with apical 1/2 of fore coxa yellow; fore tarsomeres 2–4 brown and tarsomere 5 dark brown, mid and hind tarsi dark brown from tip of fore tarsomere 1 onward. Setulae and setae on legs black except coxae with pale yellow setulae and setae. Fore coxa with 3 setae, hind coxa with 1 exterior seta. Fore and mid femora thickened with narrowed apex. Fore femur with row of 9 av on basal 2/5. Fore tibia without distinct dorsal setae; apically with 1 pd and 1 pv. Mid tibia without distinct dorsal setae; apically with 1 av and 1 pv. Hind tibia with 3–4 weak pd; apically with 1 ad and 1 pv. Hind tarsomere 1 with 1 pv at extreme base and 1 pv at middle. Relative length ratio of tibiae and tarsomeres: LI 2.2: 2.15: 0.9: 0.65: 0.4: 0.2; LII 4.0: 2.9: 1.3: 0.8: 0.4: 0.2; LIII 5.0: 2.1: 1.25: 0.8: 0.5: 0.2. Wing hyaline, veins dark brown. Vein M1 basally curved nearly at right angle. Crossvein m-cu straight, CuAx ratio 2.0. Squama yellow with dark brown margin and with pale yellow setulae. Halter dark yellow.

Abdomen nearly straight, pale metallic green with thin pale pollen pruinosity. Setulae and setae on abdomen black except those on lateral portion of tergite 1 pale yellow. Male genitalia ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 ): Epandrium slightly wider than long in lateral view; epandrial lobe indistinct. Surstylus narrowed at base. Cercus about three times as long as epandrium, long finger-like, basally thick with subtriangular ventral process bearing 6 setae, and with 2 long setae at extreme tip. Hypandrium somewhat acute apically, with long lateral arm bent apically; phallus apically straight and nearly uniformly thick.

Female. Unknown.

Type material. Holotype 3, Vietnam: Lam Dong, Lac Duong, Bidoup Nui Ba National Park, Giang Ly Station (11°56'N, 108°27'E), 1500 m, 2011. IX.23, X.Y. Liu.

Distribution. Oriental: Vietnam (Lam Dong).

Remarks. This species is similar to A. ventralis Wang, Zhu et Yang, 2012 from Taiwan of China, but can be separated from it by the fore femur with only one row of av, the fore tibia is not modified at base, and the mid tarsomeres 4–5 are not thickened. In A. ventralis , the fore femur has two rows of short ventral setae, the fore tibia is ventrally slightly swollen at base with 4 pv and one row of short dense av setulae, and the mid tarsomeres 4–5 are slightly thickened (Wang et al. 2012).

Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality, the town of Lac Duong.

6. Amblypsilopus latilamellatus (Parent)

Sciapus latilamellatus Parent, 1934: 295 . Type locality: Vietnam, Ninh Binh, Cho-Ganh.

Diagnosis. Antenna dark yellow except first flagellomere brown. Fore coxa yellow, mid and hind coxae black with yellow apex. Fore tarsomere 1 with row of setulae on basal fourth. Male cercus lobate, apically widened. Distribution. Oriental: Vietnam (Ninh Binh).
