Key to the known species of Larnaca
1 Body blackish brown, nearly unicolorous; posterior margin of male subgenital plate with a distinctly V-shaped concavity......................................................................................... L. (L.) emarginata
- Body yellowish brown, frons black, between of antennal sockets with 1 back spot, fastigium verticis and occiput with irregular spots, ventral margin of antennal sockets black, eyes black brown, pronotal disc with black pattern, mesonotum and the first abdominal tergite with black margins; apical half of male subgenital plate trapezoid, posterior margin slightly concave in the middle....................................................................................
